Investigators

Understanding Medical Research

The Trusted Experts in Research Studies

In clinical trials, the principal investigator is usually a doctor who sets up and oversees the study. A principal investigator is responsible for ensuring that a trial follows its planned course or clinical trial protocol. It involves evaluating an individual’s eligibility to participate in the the research study, providing medical advice or care to participants as it pertains to the study, and ensuring that all documentation pertaining to the research study is accurate. If any potential adverse events are identified during this process, then the PI also assesses and reports them accordingly.

Columbus Clinical Services is home to a team of highly experienced physicians who have a wealth of knowledge in clinical research and in their individual practice. This diversity allows us to participate in any research study, no matter its size.
